My Little Drifter

July 25, 2010 § Leave a comment

Here’s my Little Drifter. It was surprisingly easy to assemble. I really thought I’d had to scavenge for materials and make several attempts at a workable boat, but it all worked out really nicely. I found that piece of bark, the oak leaf and twig all within a couple of square feet at Riverfront Park. I threaded the leaf onto the twig and then stuck the twig into a crack in the bark and let it loose in the Spokane River. It even floats! The ducks weren’t too impressed with it though, they just wanted me out of there.
